Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data webnestteam collects when you use this website or buy a package, why, for how long, and what rights you have over it.

1. Who is responsible for your data

webnestteam, based at R. Rosa Madeira 2, 8100-543 Loulé, Portugal, is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. For any question, or to exercise the rights in §6, contact support@webnestteam.com.

2. What data we collect

  • Contact and order data: name, email, phone (optional), company (optional), billing address, postal code, city, country, and — if you provide it — a VAT/NIF number, collected when you submit the contact form, the quote wizard, or checkout.
  • Order content: the packages and add-ons in your order, your preferred start window, and any project notes you write in the checkout or quote form.
  • Technical data: standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited), collected for security and site operation.
  • Analytics data: only if you accept analytics cookies in the consent banner — see the Cookie Policy for exactly what Google Analytics 4 collects.
  • We do not collect payment card data. The checkout payment step is a demonstration at launch; when a real payment provider is connected, card details will be handled directly by that provider, never stored by webnestteam.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal data only where necessary to run the business:

  • Form/order transport providers — the contact form, quote wizard and order notification use a third-party form-delivery service to deliver your submission to our inbox; if no such service is configured, submissions are sent by a direct email link instead and no third party is involved.
  • Analytics — Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics 4), only if you accept analytics cookies. Google may process data outside the EU/EEA under its own compliance mechanisms (including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses).
  • Payment processing — at launch, checkout uses a mock payment step that transmits and stores no real card data anywhere. If webnestteam later connects a real payment provider, this policy will be updated to name it before it goes live.
  • We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. How long we keep it

  • Contact/quote enquiries that don't become an order: up to 12 months, then deleted.
  • Order and invoicing data: kept for the period required by Portuguese tax and accounting law (currently 10 years), after which it is deleted or anonymised.
  • Analytics data: subject to the retention period set in our Google Analytics 4 configuration, and to Google's own retention rules.
  • Cart/session storage (`wnt.cart.v1`, `wnt.lastOrder.v1`): stored in your own browser, not on our servers, until you clear it or it expires per the Cookie Policy's table.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request erasure (subject to our legal obligation to keep invoicing records); restrict or object to certain processing; request a portable copy of data you provided to us; and withdraw consent at any time (for anything based on consent, e.g. analytics), without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@webnestteam.com. We respond within the timeframes required by the GDPR.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD)www.cnpd.pt.

7. Cookies

This site uses cookies and browser storage. Strictly necessary ones (cart, consent, checkout progress) are always active; analytics cookies load only after you accept them in the consent banner. Full detail, including exact cookie names and durations, is in the Cookie Policy.

8. Children

This site is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we'll update this page and its “last updated” date. Material changes affecting an active order will be communicated directly by email.
